This book has been made to increase the emotions regarding the country India in the hearts of millions of Indians.The focus of the book is to enrich the knowledge of people about the diverse characteristics in the country.To ensure more participation in the quiz zone is the main aim behind the launch of this book.
Independence Day, observed annually on 15 August, is a national holiday in India commemorating its independence from British rule on 15 August 1947. India attained freedom following an independence movement noted for largely peaceful nonviolent resistance and civil disobedience led by the Indian National Congress.

The book brought out by Chinmaya Mission "TRANSFORMING INDIANS TO TRANSFORM INDIA" was launched on August 15th by M.Keshava Menon (Chief editor of Matrubhumi)in the presence of around 200 students,teachers,our principal and the managing committee .The release of the book marked the beginning of a national level quiz.
